Job Description

As a research assistant working on a PhD project, you will be in the Environment, Construction and Geoinformation Department (EC+G) (, within the Territorial Engineering Institute (insit) ( Your missons will be the following: 50% of your post will be devoted to your research for your PhD thesis, under the supervision of a UAS Professor and a Professor of the University of Lausanne.

The subject of your thesis will be the utilization of 3D mock-ups for participatory decision making. The project implies the establishment of interactive 3D mock-ups of buildings and neighborhoods and their utilisation in the context of participatory decision making processes (e.g. neighborhood and construction planning). The evaluation of the mock-ups will be conducted using test-users and will be involving criteria from the field of spatial cognition.
